The original Petromax hot pot, often referred to as Dutch Oven, is ideal for cooking and baking outdoors or in the oven at home. Cast-iron pots have existed since the 18th century. Even then, the unique properties of cast iron were appreciated. With the fire pot, Petromax continues this tradition and also equips the fire pot with a variety of refined details.

Cast iron Petromax quality
Due to the excellent properties of the cast iron and the special surface structure, the heat is efficiently stored and transferred. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) makes a first-time baking unnecessary and the robust fire pot can be used immediately. Outdoors, it is used on an open fire or with charcoal. The raised edge of the lid makes it possible to place embers or charcoal even on the fire pot. Thus, the fire pot is heated from all sides and is also suitable, for example, for baking bread.

Greatest cooking pleasure thanks to sophisticated details
The fire pot is provided with refined details that facilitate handling and increase cooking pleasure. A robust handle allows the hot pot to be lifted safely and a thermometer feedthrough makes it possible to check the temperature without having to lift the lid. This variant of the fire pot is equipped without feet and has a flat bottom. If you want to lift the hot lid, this is particularly easy with the Petromax lid lifter. Another highlight is that you can also use the lid upside down as a pan. Together with all these refined details, the hot pot comes in the classic Petromax design: The lid is adorned with the elegant Petromax logo, which has always stood for excellent quality and high-quality products.

Available in different sizes and expandable with practical accessories
The Petromax hot pot is available in several sizes, so that the right pot can be selected for the respective recipe or number of people. All hotpot sizes are available with feet or with a flat bottom. In the small version ft3 without feet, the fire pot has a maximum capacity of 1.6 liters (pot). It can be used to prepare dishes for 1 to 3 people. In addition to the lid lifter, other accessories are available for the Petromax hot pot, such as the transport and storage bag, the care paste and the ring cleaner for cleaning cast iron. In addition, we offer coasters and inserts made of cast iron grate (from ft6), which above all allow cooking and baking without burning.
